Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 17, 2026
Last updated: August 17, 2026

Anchored Homeopathy ("Anchored Homeopathy," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our website, contact us, create an account, book or purchase services, subscribe to a plan, complete forms, attend a session, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the "Services").

This Policy applies to information collected through our online Services and in connection with the homeopathy and wellness services we provide. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that we do not control.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect the following information:

  • Contact and identity information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, date of birth, and emergency-contact or parent/guardian information when relevant.

  • Account information, such as your login credentials, account preferences, membership or subscription status, and information stored in your client account.

  • Appointment and transaction information, such as services requested, appointment dates and times, attendance, purchases, invoices, payment status, and billing information. Payment-card information is generally collected and processed by our payment processor rather than stored directly by us.

  • Health and wellness information, such as symptoms, health history, current or past conditions, medications or supplements, allergies or sensitivities, lifestyle information, wellness goals, remedy history, photographs or documents you choose to provide, session notes, remedy plans, and progress updates.

  • Communications, including messages, emails, texts, form submissions, responses to questionnaires, customer-service requests, and other information you choose to share with us.

  • Feedback and testimonials. We may collect reviews or testimonials that you submit. We will obtain your permission before publicly identifying you in a testimonial.

  • Device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, links clicked, referring pages, access dates and times, approximate location derived from an IP address, and similar technical information collected through cookies and related technologies.

We collect information directly from you, automatically when you use the website, from service providers that help us operate the Services, and from another person only when that person is authorized to provide the information to us.

Please provide health and wellness information only through the forms or communication methods we designate for that purpose. Ordinary email and text messages may not provide the same level of security as a protected client system.

2. How We Use Information

We may use personal information to:

  • provide and personalize our Services;

  • review intake information and prepare for sessions;

  • create and maintain client accounts, notes, and remedy plans;

  • schedule appointments and send confirmations, reminders, follow-ups, and service-related messages;

  • process purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and payments;

  • respond to questions and provide client support;

  • communicate with you about services, educational content, events, or offers, where permitted by law;

  • maintain business, tax, accounting, and transaction records;

  • operate, troubleshoot, analyze, secure, and improve our website and Services;

  • detect and prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, or other harmful activity;

  • enforce our agreements and protect our rights and the rights of others; and

  • comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on your consent, the need to perform a contract with you, our legitimate business interests, and compliance with legal obligations, as appropriate.

3. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. We use companies that help us host and operate the website, manage bookings and client accounts, process payments, deliver email or text messages, conduct video or telephone sessions, store records, provide technical support, analyze website performance, and perform other business functions. These providers may process information only as needed to perform services for us and subject to their own contractual and legal obligations.

  • Professional advisers. We may disclose information to accountants, attorneys, insurers, or other professional advisers when reasonably necessary.

  • Legal and safety purposes. We may disclose information if we reasonably believe doing so is required by law, legal process, or a lawful government request, or is necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of Anchored Homeopathy, our clients, or others.

  • Business transactions. If Anchored Homeopathy is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

  • At your direction or with your consent. We may disclose information when you ask us to do so or give us permission.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not rent personal information. We do not use or disclose information you provide about your symptoms, health history, remedy plan, or sessions for targeted advertising.

4. Website Platform, Payments, and Third-Party Services

Our website is hosted on Wix, and we may use Wix features or other providers for bookings, client accounts, subscriptions, forms, communications, analytics, and related functions. Those providers may collect and process information on our behalf or under their own privacy policies.

Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. We generally receive transaction details—such as the amount, date, service purchased, payment status, and limited billing information—but not your complete payment-card number.

If you choose to meet through a third-party video, telephone, or communication platform, that provider may process information according to its own privacy policy and settings. Please review the privacy choices offered by any third-party service you use.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website and its service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies. These technologies may be used to:

  • keep the website functioning and secure;

  • remember settings and preferences;

  • understand how visitors use the website;

  • measure website and marketing performance; and

  • provide or measure advertising, if we enable advertising technologies.

Where required, we ask for consent before using non-essential cookies. You may adjust available choices through the cookie banner or Cookie Settings link on our website and may also control cookies through your browser. Disabling some cookies may affect website functionality.

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting, but there is not yet a single, universally accepted standard for responding to it. Where applicable law requires us to recognize an opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, we will treat the signal as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information associated with that browser or device.

6. Marketing Communications

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting us. You may opt out of promotional text messages by replying STOP, when that option is available. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send non-promotional messages about appointments, purchases, accounts, policies, or other Services you requested.

We do not disclose your mobile telephone number or text-message opt-in information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

7. Health and Wellness Information

We recognize that health and wellness information is sensitive. We use it to provide the Services you request, maintain appropriate records, communicate with you, and meet legal or safety obligations. We do not use this information for targeted advertising.

Not every wellness practice, service, or technology is subject to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and this Privacy Policy does not represent that all information submitted through every communication channel is protected health information under HIPAA. When a particular law applies, we will handle information as that law requires.

Please do not use website forms, email, text messages, or social media to request emergency assistance. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate medical care.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain client and business records, complete transactions, comply with legal, tax, accounting, insurance, and recordkeeping obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect against fraud or security risks.

Retention periods vary based on the type of information and why it was collected. When information is no longer needed, we may delete it, anonymize it, or securely store it until deletion is reasonably possible. Backup copies may remain for a limited period after deletion from active systems.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no website, electronic transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and notifying us if you believe your account or information has been compromised.

10. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:

  • request access to or a copy of personal information we maintain about you;

  • ask us to correct inaccurate personal information;

  • ask us to delete personal information;

  • request information about how we collect, use, or disclose personal information;

  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;

  • object to or restrict certain uses of personal information;

  • opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or sharing practices; and

  • receive personal information in a portable format, where required.

To make a privacy request, contact us at [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL]. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We may deny or limit a request when permitted by law, including when information must be retained for legal, safety, recordkeeping, or transaction purposes. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf where permitted by law. We may require proof of the agent's authority and may also ask you to verify your identity directly.

11. California Privacy Rights

California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (CCPA), when it applies to a business. Those rights may include the right to know, access, correct, or delete personal information; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; the right to limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information; and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right.

Anchored Homeopathy does not sell personal information for money. If we engage in an activity that applicable California law defines as "selling" or "sharing," we will provide any required opt-out method and honor legally recognized opt-out preference signals.

California's "Shine the Light" law may allow California residents to request information about certain disclosures of personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes without permission.

You may submit a California privacy request using the contact information in Section 16. These rights are subject to legal definitions, applicability thresholds, and exceptions. Even if a particular privacy law does not apply to us, we will make reasonable efforts to honor access, correction, and deletion requests when we can do so without conflicting with our legal and legitimate recordkeeping needs.

12. Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 should not submit personal information directly through the website. When Services are requested for a minor, the minor's parent or legal guardian should provide and manage the minor's information and communications, unless applicable law permits or requires otherwise.

If we learn that we collected personal information directly from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information without authorization may contact us.

13. Testimonials and Public Content

We will obtain permission before publishing a testimonial in a way that identifies you. If you authorize a testimonial, information included in it may become public and may be copied or shared by others. You may withdraw permission for future use by contacting us, but we may not be able to remove copies already lawfully published, printed, or shared by others.

Please do not post sensitive health or personal information in public comments, reviews, or social-media messages.

14. Third-Party Links

The Services may link to websites, social-media platforms, or services operated by others. We are not responsible for the privacy, security, or content of third-party services. Review their privacy policies before providing information.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the "Last updated" date above. If changes are material, we may also provide additional notice where appropriate or required by law. Your continued use of the Services after an updated Policy takes effect means the updated Policy will apply to information collected or processed after that date, subject to applicable law.
